On Wednesday Night, we will try to answer the question “What is Man?” One of our members was recently watching a preacher on TV who made the case that there is a difference between a person’s “Soul” and “Spirit.”  Is that true? Is there a difference between soul and spirit -or- Are they just synonyms for our mind, personality, emotion, or conscience? There are verses in the Bible that speak of body and soul. There are verses that speak of body, soul, and spirit. Theologians argue over whether mankind is a 2 part or 3 part being with a mortal body and an immortal soul (and/or Spirit). Secular humanists seem to think that we are 1 part and when we die we are just dead.
