Exalt the SAVIOR

“And I, If I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.”   John 12:32

Student Ministry at Northlake exalts Jesus Christ as God’s only Son born of a virgin who became sin for us that those who profess him as Savior are reconciled to God.  The student ministry accomplishes exaltation by encouraging students to live for Jesus each day in every situation.  The ministry supports our students in this endeavor through corporate worship on Sunday mornings and Bible study on Wednesday night.

The student ministry emphasizes that exalting Jesus our Savior never ends.  Practically, students participate in corporate worship on Sunday mornings where we encourage the family unit to worship together.

Evangelize the SINNER

“You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; adn you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”  Acts 1:8

Northlake students are provided opportunities to learn how to share their story of God’s love.  As the Holy Spirits leads and empowers, students faithfully share their story with others in order to accomplish the ministry of reconciliation to which they have been called as ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:14-21).

Equip the SAINTS

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son adn the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:19-20

Encourage the SOUL

“I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, entreat you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing forbearance to one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.  There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, overall and through all and in all.”  Ephesians 4:1-6

“Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.  And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.”  Colossians 3:16-17
