On Wednesday Night, September 20^th, we will study what the Bible has to say about natural disasters like Hurricanes. The topic is timely since this has been a very active year for hurricanes and since our church was closed last week because of power outages caused by Hurricane/Tropical Storm Irma.

When you observe the devastation caused by major hurricanes like Harvey and Irma with dozens of deaths and millions of people displaced and billions of dollars in damages, it naturally causes one to ask “WHY”?  What causes Hurricanes? As you listen to the constant coverage on TV or radio, you hear various theories. Some say it’s just weather. Others say its the Wrath of God because of our sins. Some say it’s the Devil causing troubles and trials. Others say it’s Signs of the “End Times.” Still others say it’s “man-made global climate change.”

That will be our question for the evening —
