On Wednesday Night, February 13^th, we will have a Valentine Special. Our local Baptist Collegiate Ministries at the University of North Georgia will be preparing our Wednesday Night “Sweetheart” Family Dinner and then they will be telling us about their ministry during our Bible Study and Prayer time.

Then, on Wednesday Night, February 20th, we will continue our Valentine theme. The symbol for Valentine’s Day is the Heart. One of our members was recently asking about what the Bible means when it refers to the heart. Many verses of Scripture include heart, soul, spirit, mind, and strength. Are these words synonyms or are there differences between these terms? Then, there are verses in the Bible that speak of body and soul. There are verses that speak of body, soul, and spirit. Theologians argue over whether man is a 2 part or 3 part being with a mortal body and an immortal soul (and/or Spirit). Secular humanists seem to think that we are 1 part and when we die we are just dead.
