On Wednesday Night, December 13^th, we will study the Incarnation. Most people are familiar with Christmas. It is the Holiday when we celebrate the Birth of Jesus Christ.  Theologians refer to this as “The Incarnation” – from the Latin word that means “to be made flesh.”   That phrase comes from the Gospel of John chapter 1  which says “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”

This Incarnation is a mystery to us.  We know the WHERE of the Incarnation – the Little Town of Bethlehem.  We know the WHO – Jesus Christ was “the Word made flesh.” We know the HOW – the virgin Mary and the Holy Spirit of God (Luke 1).  Wednesday Night we will try to answer the WHY?

Why would the Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent, Creator, Sustainer, and Sovereign God over all the Universe choose to become a Man?   As we begin to think and study this mystery, what do you think is the BEST answer to the following question?
