On Wednesday Night, September 2nd, at 6:30pm we will discuss what the Bible teaches about Hell. This is a follow up of our earlier study on August 19th “What Happens to Those Who Have Never Heard of Jesus?” I received several comments and questions following that study. Some seemed to think that I avoided the question because I spent most of the study explaining WHY there are so many people who have never heard of Jesus. The reason there are so many unevangelized people is because most Christians aren’t evangelizing. They are not being obedient to the Great Commission to go and make disciples of Jesus Christ.

I did quote Romans 2:12 “For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law.”  And I interpreted the word “perish” to mean spending etenity in Hell. Then I received some comments from people who say that “perish” does not mean an eternity in Hell; instead, it means that unbelievers will simply cease to exist. They believe that Believers will go to Heaven and Unbelievers will be “annihilated.”
