On Wednesday Night, June 9th, at 6:30pm, we will study whether or not the Bible teaches that the Earth is Flat. I’ve received several requests for this topic after I mentioned it in a study a few weeks ago. About 3 years ago, I met a man wearing a T-Shirt that said “Bible says Flat Earth” on the front and on the back it said “200+ Flat Earth Bible Verses”. Among the 200+ Bible verses, there are references to “the four corners of the earth”, “the ends of the earth”, “the pillars of the earth”, “the earth is fixed and un-moveable”, and “the sun rises and sets over the earth.”

The man wearing the Flat Earth T-shirt referred me to a website which said “if you’re a Christian and not believing [the earth is flat] then you are denying God’s Word.”  Also on the webpage was the suggestion for readers to ask their pastor if he believes in Flat Earth to find out whether or not he truly believes in the Word of God.
