On Wednesday Night, February 24th, at 6:30pm, we will have a study about Marriage.  I’ve received several emails, calls, and letters asking me to pray for people struggling in their marriage.

For the last 11 months, our nation has been living under the rules, regulations, restrictions, and stress of the COVID pandemic which has only increased the pressures on our families.

According to headlines of a cbslocal.com article “Divorce filings have skyrocketed since the reopen following the quarantine.” The article continues “while divorce rates have been on the rise in the United States for the last few decades, coronavirus has increased the number of divorce cases for lawyers across the country…. The [latest] data and statistics [say] there’s been a 30% increase in divorce filings post-quarantine… It’s sort of like the pandemic created a perfect storm for couples who were [struggling] … Think about it, you’re locked in a house for months on end. It’s brought a lot of the issues that were previously swept under the rug to the surface. Couples who may have been able to tolerate each other for a few hours were stuck and all of the social outlets were taken away from us.”

Our Wednesday Night Question of the Week will be for those who are engaged to be married, those who are married, or those who have been married:
