On Wednesday Night, October 13th, at 6:30pm,  we will look at life’s ultimate choice- The Great Choice. Jesus describes this Great Choice for us in Mark 8.   Mark 8:34 [NKJV] When [Jesus] had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 35 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. 36 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? 37 Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?”

In these verses, Jesus explains that every person must make a decision about how we are going to live our brief life here on earth.  Will we choose to follow Christ and the Way of the Cross?  Or will we choose to follow the Way of the World?  Whichever way we choose will affect our eternal destiny. While our body will die, God has created us with an eternal soul that will live forever somewhere. The choice that we make in this life will affect our life hereafter.
