Are Scientists Infallible ?

Home > Pastor's Blog > Are Scientists Infallible ?

On Wednesday Night, November 18th, at 6:30pm we will try to determine if scientists are infallible.  To be infallible means someone or something that is incapable of making an error, or misleading or deceiving or disappointing.

Apparently former Vice President Joe Biden seems to think that scientists are infallible. After the “mainstream media” declared that Biden had won the 2020 election, he offered the following quotes in his acceptance speech: “Americans have called on us… [to] marshal the forces of science.. and the forces of hope in the great battles of our time… The battle to control the virus… The battle to save the climate… I will name a group of leading scientists and experts as Transition Advisors to help take the Biden-Harris COVID plan and convert it into an action blueprint that starts on January 20th, 2021….. That plan will be built on a bedrock of science.”

Joe Biden’s speech seemed to imply that President Trump had not listened to scientists which is why COVD-19 has not been eradicated already. He seems to ignore that sometimes the scientists who advise the president are not always in agreement about how to stop a pandemic.

On November 9th, Joe Biden named 13 health experts and scientists to his COVID-19 Advisory Board. Then 4 days later, one of those advisors, Dr. Michael Osterholm, spoke during an interview and said that the United States needs to endure another 4-6 week “lockdown” to stop COVID-19. Immediately, some of the other scientists on Biden’s Advisory Board disagreed saying another nationwide lockdown was unnecessary. So, before Biden can be sworn in as president, he already has a disagreement from his “leading scientists and experts.”
