On Wednesday Night, September 27^th , we will continue our prayer study. For  background to our study, we are using “The Doctrine of Prayer” by T. W. Hunt. In chapter 6, he discusses some things that hinder our prayers.

Occasionally, someone will say to me “I don’t feel like my prayers are getting above the ceiling!”  Sometimes it does seem like our prayers are not getting through to the Lord. We pray and then nothing seems to be happening. We wonder if the LORD is listening to us. As we have discussed earlier, prayer requires patience and persistence. However, the Bible tells us that sometimes there are things in our life that hinder our prayers and our relationship with the LORD.
