On Wednesday Night, April 26^th , we will talk about Biblical Hermeneutics. Hermeneutics means methods of interpretation. How do we know what the Bible says?  How do we know what the Bible means?   How do we apply the principles found in the Bible?

One of the rules of Biblical Hermeneutics is “the Law of First Mention.”  This rule says that if you want to get a basic understanding of what a Biblical word means – instead of going to a dictionary – look up the first time it is introduced or mentioned in Scripture.
