Election Day 2016

Home > Pastor's Blog > Election Day 2016

On Wednesday Night, Aug 3rd, we will be discussing the 2016 Presidential Election.  This election season will probably go into the history books as one of the most controversial because after observing the two political conventions, it appears as though neither party has a candidate that either party can wholeheartedly unite around and support.  If the political classes are having trouble wrapping their arms around their nominees, how much more is the average non-political American confused about our choices in November?

As Christians, we understand that it is our duty and privilege to vote. However, most Christians would have to admit that neither candidate is ideal.  So,

What is a Christian to do on Election Day 2016?

  • Vote for the Greater Good (50%, 13 Votes)
  • Vote the Lesser of Two Evils (31%, 8 Votes)
  • Vote with a Write-In (12%, 3 Votes)
  • Vote for a 3rd Party (4%, 1 Votes)
  • Not Vote (4%, 1 Votes)
  • Other (Please Comment) (0%, 0 Votes)

Total Voters: 26
