Two young men – graduates of Liberty University – were supposed to be hosting a new show on HGTV this fall – but once it was discovered that they were dedicated Christians, pro-life, and pro- traditional marriage, HGTV pulled the plug on the show.
As we discussed, Christians are living in a culture that has shifted from Moral Majority to Immoral Majority. Therefore, we can expect some persecution that will try to force Christians to conform to this world – like public humiliation, boycotting our businesses, punishment with fines, etc.
What should our response be? What would Jesus do? John 8 – Continue to love the sinner but hate the sin. John 1 – continue to Graciously speak the Truth. The Benham twins, David and Jason, appear to be trying to do just that. They also seem to be prepared to accept the consequences of their stand ” If our faith costs us a television show then so be it.” Check out their story at :
