Our Wednesday Night topic for Jan 8, 2014 is – Does Jesus Know Everything?
Jesus Christ (as the 2nd Person in the Trinity) is God. Jesus said this Himself – in Joh 10:30 I and [my] Father are one. -and- in John 14: 9 He who has seen Me has seen the Father. -and – in Joh 8:58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

The Apostles also taught that Jesus Christ is God. Titus 2:13 [ we are] looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, -and- 1 Tim 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

The Bible Teaches that God is Omnipotent or All Powerful – Gen 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God;[El Shaddai]

The Bible teaches that God is Omnipresent or Ever Present. Psa 139:7 Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? 8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. -and- Eze 48:35 THE LORD Is THERE.”[Jehovah or Yahweh Shammah]

The Bible also teaches that God is Omniscient or All Knowing – Prov 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. -and- 1Jo 3:20 God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

These attributes of God were also claimed for Jesus Christ.
Joh 2:24 He [Jesus] knew all men,
Joh 16:30 “[Jesus disciples said] Now we are sure that You know all things,
Joh 21:17 [Peter] said to Him [Jesus], “Lord, You know all things

The Bible is Clear that Jesus is the Son of God -and- is One with God -and- is the fulness of the Godhead bodily (Col 2:9) . The Bible is also clear that Jesus knew ALL THINGS – So WHY does the Bible say (speaking of the 2nd Coming of Christ) in Mar 13:32 ” But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven,
nor the Son, but only the Father. ?
