Missions

Since our beginnings, Northlake Baptist Church has shared a rich history of missions through education, giving, and going. Our Mission Action Team and Women on Mission have been major catalysts for prayer, participation, and education. These groups continue to pursue their passion for leading others to bring the lost to Christ through these avenues.

Our mission participation is determined through prayer, verification of needs, and an evaluation of the effectiveness of the particular ministry. While our Mission Action Team cast an umbrella vision for the Church, individuals and small group ministries provide input and example with ideas and small group ministries throughout our Church and community.

Northlake Baptist Church cooperates with the Chattahoochee Baptist Association on the local front, and with the Southern Baptist Convention on the state front. We also participate with the North American Mission Board (NAMB) and the International Mission Board. These mission affiliations allow us to network with other believers across the city, state, nation, and globe in ministering to the physical and spiritual needs people.

Obedient to the call of God to be on mission, Northlake Baptist Church asks God for faith, resources, and volunteers to grow our ministry to the nations. Our mission partnerships are in the areas of evangelism, leadership training, disaster relief, construction, and Christian education. We desire to include students and adults and are seeking places for family participation. Northlake Baptist Church has sent out many participants for missions as singles and as families in the past 20 years and continues to equip people to be missionaries wherever God places them.
